
Summit Heat Sinks Metal Co., Ltd., a professional heat sink manufacturer, was founded in 1989 in Taipei, Taiwan. From the very beginning, we dedicated on manufacturing and developing of heat sinks. Along with the boom of Information Technology industry in Taiwan during the 90s, our business had increased steadily. We supplied heat sinks for CPUs, switch powers, as well as monitors for major local and international IT Companies.
In 1998, Summit set up its first factory in China; Humen Summit Metal & Plastic Factory was located in Humen Town of Dongguan, province of Guan Dong, very close to Hong Kong. This factory supports Summit Taiwan by manufacturing heat sinks and other front panels and stamping metal parts. It is the predecessor of today’s Summit Thermal System Co., Ltd.
In 2000, Summit has acquired advanced technology and knowledge from our European partners, and started involving in the field of heat sinks for industrial automation applications. Later this has become one of our main business categories.
In the end of 2004, the original site of factory was overloaded and a new site for Summit has been chosen for future development. The construction of new Summit Industrial Park started in 2005, the total area is about 25,000m², including one office building, two 3-floor factories, and three dormitories for employees. Summit moved to this new production base in 2006, and has transformed to Summit Thermal System Co., Ltd.
Nowadays, the main business type of Summit is OEM exporting; we serve customers around the world, and our customers include some of the first tier companies in the industry, such as ABB, Bosch, General Electronics, Rockwell Automation, Siemens and Toshiba. Our superior quality and prompt service have long been the reasons for these companies to work with Summit.
In consideration of intense competition in OEM business, Summit decided to invest in a new thermal lab and R&D team in order to better serve our customers by working together with customers to solve thermal problems. We are definitely convinced that the only way for Summit to prosper is to grow with our customers.
